On September 16, 2022, Kostanay humanitarian College hosted a literary evening” Syrly Alemi of Syrbai”, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the people’s writer of the Republic of Kazakhstan Syrbai maulenov, organized by the teacher of the Kazakh language and literature, master Nurzhan Gulzhanat Tuybaykyzy and the 2NOB-12 group. The evening was attended by poet, writer, professor of Kostanay State University named after A. Baitursynov Shayakhmetov Akylbek Kozhayevich and head of the Local History Department of the L. Tolstoy Regional Library Nurmaganbetova Almatai Toymanovna, librarian Seil Zhuldyzai Yessenbekovna. During the literary evening, students got acquainted not only with the literary memories of Syrbai Maulenov, but also read the poet’s poems, performed in chorus the song “soldiers who returned from war”, written by syrlai Akyn. At the end of the evening, students got acquainted with the exhibition of works by Syrbay Maulenov, organized by the staff of the Regional Library. At the end of the event, Deputy Director of the college for educational and production work Alekeshova Kanagat Anvarbekovna thanked the guests of the literary evening and expressed warm wishes to the students.
